Production - Website Development
My Website development consisted of choosing different designs and importing photos. The first screenshot is an original photo that I took on a holiday to South Africa. As the image is from a high height and shows a city and the ocean, I believe it had suitable connotations of the Universe. However, the colours did not suit my intended colour palette. I continued to play around with images for the home page, that reach a wider audience and would appeal to different readers. I am yet to decide on this image.

Production - Developing a Logo
When creating my website, I was keen to create a strong brand identity that was clear throughout my products. Therefore, creating an original logo that was present on the website and online social media accounts, as well as the magazine would build this brand identity.
As the fashion magazine is targeted at 16-25 year olds, I wanted the logo to be fun and bright whilst being sophisticated. I played around with different designs, but came to the conclusion of using a fashion based image/design. I chose a bare dress manikin as it was not gender specific and clearly related to the fashion industry.
The colour palette I chose was black, grey and pale pink, which matches well with the website. The black colour is bold and modern which compliments the delicate pink well.
