Planning - Summary of Findings

I will complete two different magazine covers and content pages, using two different models with contrasting looks in order to represent diverse fashion styles.

For my first cover I have chosen to create a Breakfast at Tiffany's/Audrey Hepburn inspired cover that represents an upmarket 1960s style of fashion, that references the era. My upcoming trip to New York has inspired this choice, as 5th Avenue Tiffany's is featured in the film. Hepburn was, and still is a fashion icon, that the majority of the target audience recognise and therefore I believe having this theme for my first cover will be original and well received.

My second cover will be themed around festivals, as with the target audience, these music events are extremely popular. I intend to feature two to three different looks within the magazine, representing different fashion looks within the festival style, contrasting to the luxurious Tiffany theme. The magazine will include varying festival looks under a budget which reaches a different area of the target audience.

I will continue to research both themes throughout this process in order to successfully produce two contrasting magazine editions as well as a website, reaching diverse fashion groups within the target audience.
